Dropped the ball and failed to conduct my Judicial Review.

I paid the Legal Company £3884 to conduct a Judicial Review for me. The solicitor handling my case, Milton Firman, insisted on payment in advance. He told me he had filed the case in court and that I should expect a response within 3 weeks at the latest. But when there was no response I asked Mr. Firman why the delay, and he told me to just rest assured that he was monitoring the situation and that I should just let him take care of it. After 4 months had elapsed and no response I contacted Mr. Firman again and he had completely forgotten about the case. I phoned the court and they told me they had tried to contact Mr. Firman because he had not filed the case correctly, but when he failed to respond they canceled the case. Mr. Firman then charged me yet another fee to file an application to re-instate the case. He told me that he would carefully monitor the progress and that I should trust him. This time around I didn't trust him so I called him for updates every few days. He just gave me a string of excuses; He told me he had Covid (several times he used that excuse), he said his mother was 101 years old, and he had to attend her birthday party, and then he said she had Covid, he went on holiday for 2 weeks, then extended it to 4 weeks, he said he had to attend court in London, he said the court wouldn't answer the phone when he called or return his emails, but when I emailed the court they answered within the same day, he said he was tired or just didn't feel well, an endless parade of excuses but never any substantive response. Then he cut off communication altogether. I asked the court what had happened to my case and they told me Mr. Firman had not filed the application. He just kept the fee and did nothing. Now he refuses to answer my letters or emails, and when I call him he just hangs up on me. I have lost all the money I paid him, and more importantly my case is past the statutory time limits and so I can never now bring my case even if I hire a new solicitor.

Milton Firman told me he would easily win my private criminal prosecution but he hadn't got a clue how to proceed.

When by father's estate was looted by dishonest executors I turned to Milton Firman of the Legal Company for help. I was desperate to save what little I could of my inheritance. He told me he would prosecute the offenders in criminal court and send them to prison for a very long time. The judge wouldn't even allow a summons to be issued. He said the case was unarguable. Milton Firman then demanded yet more money from me to appeal. He said the judge's ruling was perverse and not even judges could do what that judge had done. I paid the fee requested, and once again Milton lost the case with an adverse costs order for me to pay even though he had assured me that I was insured against any costs even if we lost. During both cases he kept demanding more money to pay for external solicitors and barristers. Later I learned that the firms he claimed to have hired did not exist. He is a scammer. I tried to report him to the Solicitors Regulation Authority: They told me they were well aware of Milton Firman and his Legal Company as they had struck him off as a solicitor years ago and prohibited him from practicing law. They were unwilling to do anything more to protect the public from this fraudster as he was no longer a solicitor and so not their problem.

Milton Firman is a fly-by-night scam artist.

Wow, this scam artist is forbidden to practice law by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (Law Society) and yet he is still in business. Why isn't he in prison for this? Why hasn't the Greater Manchester Police arrested and charged this menace to society? He openly flouts the law, takes money from vulnerable victims, and when challenged just disappears into the woodwork.

I am not able to explain in the work the horror I have lived with this man, I appeared to be very polite and understanding but everything seems to be part of his plan, Mr Milton the struck out solicitor who shouldn't been working as a legal professional found out the way to work into litigation, and handles the claim in the way a barrister would do. I lost a JR which was never win able on the ground he raised it. All he care was money. £1650 he charged , and then another £250 for writing a story without any case reference without which it was impossible to win. Worst part is he never told me he is a struck out solicitor, and he assisted me in legal matter against another struck pout solicitor. What a sham, and fraud he appreciated to be! He has made me loose £2500 in legal cost against Legal Ombudsman. Only if he was honest, I would have not dont what I did, got involved in an impossible litigation! He has looted me.

No Win No Fees Fraud/unprofessional Date of experience: 12 August 2021

No Win No Fees Fraud. This is extremely unprofessional company running by Mr Milton. He charged me £1500 as initial fixed fees then £500 afterward he never ever attend my call or never advised me not even single time. I have lost the case in which I was innocent and I have evidence of my innocence but I lost due to Milton who is running this fraud company. He actually said that judge are stubborn and never goes against their judge colleague decision in appeal. While dear judge said me that you should bring those evidence in front of first judge While Milton know all about this but he did not deal the case properly even not a single time. Just like he wanted me to loose then I will contact him and he will charge further and he did ask me to pay and I paid again due to his unprofessionalism. Please someone need to stop him by trapping and doing fraud the people. If any government agency or law society or any agency needs info against his behaviour then I will provide all info and proof.

Summary

This law firm, “The Legal Company”, is a scam. It has become the scourge of so many vulnerable victims for so many years. So many victims have been cheated of large sums of money, and perhaps even worse, lost court cases, as a result of this greedy offender. Thus this website has been created in the hope of protecting further victims from falling victim to this fraudster. If you are considering doing business with this lowlife scum then please do your due diligence first. Pathogical Liar

Note how the “Legal Company” tries to project the image of being a real law firm. The header text on their website reads: “Speak to one of our advisers on 07909 900449 or speak to our reception team on 0203 633 0767”. Clearly they want potential customers to believe they are dealing with a team of many people. In reality the “Legal Company” consists of just one person. His name is Milton Firman. Sometimes he uses alternative names in correspondence and tells clients that their case is being transferred to other members of his firm. But he is lying, these other lawyers and staff do not exist. So, is Milton Firman a real lawyer? Once upon a time he was a real solicitor. But that was a long time ago. He was struck off as a solicitor by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. He is now forbidden from practicing law. This disciplinary action was taken as punishment for lying to his clients. He even lied about losing cases, telling his clients that he had won their case. This is a very fundamental matter to lie about, no scope for misunderstanding here. It was a blatant deliberate lie.

Incompetent

Notice how “The Legal Company” website claims expertise in so many practice areas of law. Real law firms, even large law firms with many lawyers on staff, rarely if ever claim expertise in so many areas of law. But “The Legal Company” is not a large firm, it is not even a real law firm. It is one person: Milton Firman. He does not have expertise in all these practice areas. In fact he knows very little about any area of law. The most he knows how to do is to file forms at the local court. And even then he does a piss poor job of typing up a form. His work contains so many grammatical and spelling errors that his client needs to correct for him; often several iterations of corrections before the work is ready. He claims that he has no IT knowledge and that bad spelling is just his thing, as if that is a valid excuse. He cannot even use the automatic spell checker in his word processing software.

Scam Artist

The “Legal Company” is an elaborate hoax. It is one person, Milton Firman, pretending to be a law firm. He has set up an elaborate network of websites, blogs, and social media accounts to make it appear as if he is a legitimate firm of solicitors. He even blogs about social issues, especially the Holocaust, to make it look as if he really cares about injustice in the world. It is all an elaborate deception, the work of a skilled con artist, praying on vulnerable victims that are often in a desperate situation and will believe any grifter that offers them hope. He portrays himself as a victim, as a Jew still suffering from the Holocaust and antisemitism. He courts the sympathy of his intended victims, portraying himself as a little guy injured by the cruel unfair system. As a result of his dishonest behavior he has been forbidden to practice law by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (Law Society).
